Many years ago eBay highly recommended that sellers include photos with their listings. Since that time eBay has changed their policy to REQUIRE photos for all auctions. They also state that a seller could see a 5% or more increase in sales when providing a 'good quality' photo.
We've all heard the old adage, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Your customers want to be able to inspect products with a good degree of detail and there has been a lot of progress made in recent years.
2D photography has been a staple of product marketing for a century now. Over that past 15 years much of the planet has been fortunate enough to own an imaging device built right into their smartphones. Today, 2D still photography has an average cost in the realm of $15-$18/item. While some companies generate their own stock photos others rely on third parties.
There is a good chance that you have run across 3D product photography already as its use begins to take hold across many platforms including eBay, Amazon, Shopify and others.
How 360 Spin Photos Are Built
Numerous still images are taken of an object as it rotates 360 degrees.
Software stitches these images together for playback as either a short video
or a single finger swipe-able graphic.

While the resolution is still the same the photos can appear to be slightly sharper in nature. (This can be useful to items with textures or fine details.)

Requirements & Recommendations

Standard pricing based upon items that do not exceed 5 lbs in weight & a diameter of 20 inches.

Your items look their best when little else exists within the frame; including backgrounds or the spin table itself. While we can photograph a wide range of products it is important to note that some of the more challenging items are:

Reflective (i.e. chrome or mirror finished)

White items (which disappear against the white backgrounds

Black items (at times, matte black items can appear to be either washed out or dust magnets after removal of all background material)
We do photograph all of the above and can provide you with some existing sample images so you can determine if the end product will meet your needs. Some great alternatives are colors like Reds and Pinks.
